You will be responsible for any damage to the rental property caused by you or your party during your stay. If any damage occurs or if anything unexpected happens during your stay, please let us know right away so we can quickly address the issue and find the best solution.

A quiet forest and a beautiful lake create a peaceful setting for rest and escape from everyday life. Surrounded by tall pine trees, the cabin sits just a short walk from the water. Deer, squirrels, and birds are often seen nearby, making this a true retreat in harmony with nature.

Here, children naturally find their own little adventures in the calm of the forest, among trees, fresh air, and simple outdoor play. Inside the Pine is a place where childhood feels free, grounded in nature, and gently unhurried.
WHERE CHILDHOOD MEETS NATURE
It took us nearly 3 years to find this special place. We were looking for something truly unique - a property that would offer privacy, beautiful views, and a peaceful Northwoods experience. After exploring many possibilities, we found these 140 acres and knew this was it.
THE STORY OF INSIDE THE PINES
We closed on the land and officially began the journey of building Inside the Pines. It was an exciting day for our family and the start of a dream becoming reality.
April 2024
Alex drove the bobcat onto the property to begin excavation. Our son Sky was sitting on his lap, watching it all unfold. It was one of those simple moments that will stay with us forever.

The Building Process
It was hard work, filled with long days, challenges, and unexpected obstacles. But when we look back, we mostly remember the good parts — working together as a family, watching the kids get involved, and celebrating every small and big milestone along the way.
On Alex’s birthday, our family secretly gathered at the cabin to surprise him. We celebrated together and cut the ribbon. The main construction was finally complete.

We continued working on the finishing touches and built the sauna before winter fully arrived. Project by project, the cabin slowly became what we had imagined.

Welcoming Our First Guests
Soon after the final inspections, families began arriving at Inside The Pines. Seeing children explore the property, families gather around the fire, and guests create memories here made every hour of hard work worth it.
We returned to focus on the outdoor spaces. The natural playground was built, creating even more opportunities for kids to explore, imagine, and play.

Inside The Pines continues to evolve. We are always adding small improvements and personal touches that make this place special. We hope that while you’re here, you’ll create memories with your family just as meaningful as the ones we created while building it.
