Inside The Pines Cabin is the first cabin built on 140 acres of land, on the beautiful nearly private lake giving you that unique feeling of being alone in the big Ottawa National Forest.

We are Pet friendly at Wakefield Lake and Inside the Pine Cabins. Pet fee is $200 per pet. No pets allowed at B Family Cabin due to allergies in our family. Therefore, at B Family Cabin we have outdoor fenced area for outdoor dogs if you want to bring them but they can’t go inside the house. Thank you for understanding.

Our territory

A quiet forest, a beautiful lake, plenty of space to relax - and we will soon continue to expand, adding new cabins.

Deer, squirrels and birds are frequent guests, making this place a true haven in harmony with nature.

The cabin is surrounded by a serene pine forest, and just a few steps away is a picturesque lake.

ABOUT INSIDE THE PINES

Many of you have watched us building it on instagram stories and now on YouTube we will show more of the processes. Each member of the family contributed to the construction of this home, and here are some photos that capture each stage of the process. The finishing touches will soon be done, and the first guests will have the opportunity to rent it.

The cabin is located in Watersmeet, Michigan, on the small and almost private non motorized Cox lake, about 3 minutes drive to the Cisco chain of lakes, and with direct access to the ATV/UTV, snowmobile trails.
Special for this cabin is the extra large patio with the beautiful views to the lake, and of course big panoramic windows throughout the house. Four balcony windows will bring the outdoors right inside the two upstairs bedrooms.
And the house is off grid. Yes, we will have our own solar panel system for energy, which also makes it a little more special.
As of the beginning of February we are a few weeks into the interior work and will be soon done working on the second floor. But we want to list the cabin as many of you are waiting to start making summer 2025 reservations.
