Also get out on any of the lakes or rivers with the public boat land in the area as we are surmised by the largest collections of freshwater lakes in the world!

During the summer time our guests can enjoy the refreshing lake water, private pier fishing. Kayaks are provided on both our properties. By request we will provide for no charge 2 adult and 2 children size bikes for any of our summer guests.

Both our St Germain properties are located just under 2 miles away from 52 miles scenic views of the paved Heart of Vilas County Bike Trail recognized as a National Recreation Trail that connects St. Germain, Sayner, Boulder Junction, Manitowish Waters and Mercer.

Hiking, biking(fat tire and mountain biking), snowshoeing, country cross skiing, snowmobile/ATV trails are all around. Just open the map and start your adventure!

Because we are located in the middle of Vilas County you get to easily explore 700 miles of snowmobile trails, more than 60 designated multi-use trails, more than 240,000 acres of public land and more than 1,300 beautiful lakes and 73 rivers and streams.

While winter time brings around fluffy snow, perfect conditions for our featured outside hot tub and sauna, and renting snowmobiles. Winter time is also perfect for a skiing vacation, as there are multiple skiing locations in the northern area.
